The event is a historical reenactment of an event from the Renaissance in Castiglione with figurants in period costume, where they will then witness the barrel race in which representatives of the eight districts of Castiglione Olona push a heavy barrel through the streets of the town to the Castle of Monteruzzo. The winning team will be awarded the Palio.
